Well, we have all watched that myth - that "nice guys" do not make it and the 'bad boys" interest women - but I don't think it is necessarily true. At least I don't think it has anything to do with being a bad boy versus a nice guy.

I think there are other personality vectors involved that possibly bad boys and nice guys have that are the identifying qualities of attraction.

Bad boys are often less shy, but also they are more confident in general than nice guys. I feel that it would be these personalities that are attracting a woman not the point that a guy is bad.

I personally almost never use the "bad boy" approach when attracting women, I am most always a perfect gentleman. Nevertheless, I am not an easy hook and women can tell that easily when talking to me. I am a little reserved, I don't compliment women when I initially meet them or tell them how lovely they are, and most women don't have a clue as to whether I am interested in them or just being nice.

That is what sets me beyond a "nice guy". Women see me as a rightful gentleman but haven't a clue if I am interested in them or not. Women -especially very attractive women - prefer that. They are sick and tired of talking to men who praise them.

Girls like guys who are appealing and unique. Attractive girls don't find guys who tell them how beautiful they are to be unique. But a guy who has a pleasant conversation with them without stating a word about their good looks verbally or non-verbally - now that is both attractive and unique to a beautiful girl.

Also remember that women have different qualities. And what one thinks is interesting and unique differs from personality to personality. A not-so-good-looking female may find it totally interesting and unique to be told how pretty she is by a man. A woman who grows up in a society of perfect gentlemen, might very well find a guy who talks a little bad and naughty to be interesting and different. A woman who knows nothing but rough and ignorant men, would find a gentlemen to be a rare interesting and unique find.

You see irrespective of what you are like there is a person for you. But you have to determine who that someone would be and then try to maximize how you would meet people like that. So no matter if you are a bad guy or a nice guy, put yourself in a situation where you are interesting and special to the women you encounter and you will be victorious.

One of the most difficult things to learn in life is that regardless of what you are like there is always someone who is perfectly compatible with you. Even if you are boring there are women who are completely compatible with that. Not every one desires to meet and hook up with the life of the celebration.

The problem is people who don't admit themselves for who they are, attempt to act differently and they are not being themselves, so they don't appeal to anyone.
